This carboxyl functionality also offers a reactive site for crosslinking. Master Bond Polymer System LTX163SP contains no organic solvents and can therefore be used to formulate adhesives with very low VOC (volatile organic compound) contents. Also, LTX163SP is free of formaldehyde-containing or generating components. All of these changes have been achieved while fully maintaining and/or enhancing all pertinent physical strength properties and performance. In addition, LTX163SP can offer the formulator a faster speed of set, increased compatibility with other compounding ingredients, and good long-term viscosity stability.
