Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT is a two component epoxy-coal tar compound for high performance coatings, linings and sealants. The Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT is readily prepared for use by thoroughly mixing the two compounds with a convenient, non-critical one to one mix ratio and cures at ambient temperatures to form high quality protection coatings, linings and sealants. The cured Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT features an excellent combination of physical and chemical characteristics. The epoxy resin contributes high physical strength properties, adhesion and resistance to solvents, water and alkalis; the coal tar provides resistance to water including sea water, acids and many inorganic salts. EP21CT coatings, linings and sealants are particularly recommended for heavy duty corrosion protection of chemical plants, flooring, docks, power stations, ships, dams and cooking plants. They are widely employed in the chemical process, construction, petroleum, fertilizer, cement, mining, electrical/electronic and marine industries for service where abrasion as well as corrosion protection are required.
