Master Bond Polymer System EP46HT-1 is ideal for high performance bonding and sealing requirements, especially when resistance to temperatures must be between -100°F to 550°F. This is a two-component system, fully reactive and devoid of solvents or diluents. The system is effective to cure epoxy at elevated temperatures. This can deliver bonds and seals with superior chemical resistance and great mechanical strength. The product acts as a matrix resin for certain varieties of composite structures, especially fiber reinforced, high performance, heat resistant ones and those are resistant to thermal cycling and chemicals, including water, oil and several organic solvents. A fully cured system delivers a glass transition temperature over 235°C.
