Master Bond EP101HTX-3 is a very special, one component, low viscosity, high performance epoxy system with first class temperature resistance and outstanding electrical insulation properties. This no mix system requires elevated temperature curing with a minimum of 250°F. Two alternative curing schedules are noted below. EP101HTX-3 cures rigid with superior dimensional stability.
EP101HTX-3 has excellent bonding properties to a wide variety of substrates including composites, metals, glass, ceramics and many rubbers and plastics. It offers fine chemical resistance to water, oils, acids, bases and many solvents. It withstands contentious thermal cycling as well as powerful thermal and mechanical shocks. EP101HTX-3 possesses superb optical clarity and light transmission properties. This one part system will not cure at room temperature; therefore, its working life is synonymous with its shelf life. Its service temperature range is -60°F to +450°F. The combination of properties and low viscosity allows it to be used in a wide variety of bonding, sealing, potting, coating and impregnation applications, particularly in the aerospace, electronic and optical industries.
